Chestnuts are one of the popular tastes of autumn in Japan, and the Westin Miyako Kyoto is hosting a chestnut-themed afternoon tea event from November 1st until December 31st. The menu for the afternoon tea includes both sweet and savory dishes containing chestnuts, such as chestnut and prosciutto sandwiches, Mont Blancs, and chestnut and smoked duck pinchos (a type of bread-based snack popular in Spain).
The price per head for the afternoon tea is ¥ 5100, and reservations can be made via the official hotel website.

Alternatively, the hotel operates shuttle bus services from Kyoto Station to the premises on a regular basis - please check with them about departure times on the day of your intended visit.
