Gyosen Park

A park with something for everyone

In 1933, Tanaka Genji donated this land to Tokyo City to create a park. When the land was transferred to the jurisdiction of Edogawa City in 1950, they created Gyosen Park as we see it today. The park includes a playground, a fountain, a fishing pond, a Japanese style garden named Heisei Garden built in 1989, and a tea house named Genshinan. It also encompasses the Edogawa City Natural Zoo, which was added to the park in 1983.The park has something to offer to the entire community, made evident by how everyone from children to the elderly were enjoying themselves.
